Guests walk 166 steps from their cottages down a rambling wooden staircase to a beautiful cove with silver sands and crystal-clear waters. Sunbathing on the beach is a lovely way to spend an afternoon, as is swimming in the warm sea, or choosing from among several underwater adventures. St. Lucia has some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the Caribbean—two spectacular shipwrecks and several reefs are nearby— and the resort is happy to arrange dives with the adjacent PADI dive center, which offers instruction to divers of all skill levels.
